The CFM Examination has gone digital
! ASFPM manages registration for the digital exam; however, you must have been approved by NMFMA to take the exam before they will proceed with registration.

In order to take the exam and become certified, the following steps outline the process:

1.  Download the exam application packet - CFM Application Packet
2.  Complete the Application and Pay NMFMA the Application Fee.
         a. If you are paying by credit card online, you can email the completed packet to paul.dugie@soudermiller.com; OR
         b. You can mail the packet along with your check to the address on page 5 of the packet
4. Once NMFMA has reviewed the application, you will receive a form to be completed and submitted to ASFPM to register and schedule the digital exam.
5. Contact ASFPM per the directions on the form and pay the digital exam fee directly to ASFPM.

Contact Paul Dugie, Certification Board Chair, if you have any questions about registering for the exam.

Re-examination

If you are unsuccessful in passing the digital exam, you will be eligible to schedule a new attempt, but will be required to pay the ASFPM digital exam fee each time the test is to be taken.

Certification
Once NMFMA is notified of a successful completion of the CFM Exam, NMFMA will reach out to the applicant to pay the licensing fee, establish the account in our Certification System online, and create a Certificate which will be available online for printing.

Transferring CFM
