Call for Abstracts

You are invited to submit an application to present at the 2025 NMFMA Workshop, where we will focus on Innovative Solutions to Floodplain Management in our state.

If you would like to share your experience and knowledge regarding recent or innovative floodplain projects, changes in Floodplain Management, how those changes impacted planning, studies, or infrastructure projects or other great topics, you are encouraged to fill out and submit a NMFMA Speaker Information Form. 

The NMFMA Workshop is a great opportunity to present your work, projects, research, etc. in front of colleagues from around the State. We also encourage you to forward this information along to anyone who you feel may have an interesting topic they would like to present on.

This year we are especially seeking presentations from local floodplain managers, engineering firms, surveyors and consulting groups.

Speakers & Presentations selected will receive a complementary registration to the three-day workshop (separate registration required; a coupon code for registration will be provided upon presentation acceptance).
