Floodplain Management Concepts
NOTE: There will be no Silent Auction at the Angel Fire Workshop.
The theme of the Fall 2017 workshop is "What's New in Floodplain Management". Click HERE to see the latest workshop Agenda. The final agenda will be posted as soon as it is complete.
The workshop is being held at the Angel Fire Resort, located at 10 Miller Lane in Angel Fire, NM. The phone number for reservations is 1-800-633-7463, or you can click http://www.angelfireresort.com/ to make reservations online. Mention that you are with NMFMA to get the group rate.
Jim DeAngelo will teach a Floodplain Management Concepts class on Tuesday from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. This is the same class that was taught at Isleta at last Spring's workshop. This class will be worth 3 CECs for CFMs.
The New Mexico Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (NMDHSEM) will again offer reimbursements for the Fall 2017 NMFMA Workshop. Reimbursement will be provided for eligible government employees. There will be a special session during the conference to assist members in filling out the proper forms.
